Autumn has arrived in the Pikes Peak region, and we're here for it! From hayrides to corn mazes, we've rounded up the best pumpkin patches where you can enjoy the season and pick the perfect pumpkin with stunning mountain views.

Wishing Star Farm

  • Dates: September 24-October 30
  • Times: Saturdays 9am-5pm, Sundays 10am-4pm

For a more authentic experience, pick your pumpkin from an animal farm! Wishing Star Farms, just 25 minutes from Colorado Springs, is one of the largest petting zoos in Colorado. Along with pumpkins, you can enjoy activities like a petting zoo, hayrides, barrel train rides, a jumping pillow, hay slides, a kids' town, tire swings, a fire truck, sandboxes, corn bins, duck races, frisbee gold, yard games, and much more!

October Pumpkin Fest at Venetucci Farm

  • Dates: October 4-October 27
  • Times: Fridays 9:30am-2:30pm, Saturdays and Sundays 9:30am-4pm
  • Where: 5210 US Highway 85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911
  • Cost: $5 per person. Pumpkins are an additional $10.

Nick and Bambi Venetucci envisioned a farm where families could gather to pick pumpkins, and for generations, thousands of children have done just that. Keep the tradition alive with your family by visiting Venetucci Farm every weekend in October. Enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, flower picking, games, farm animals, local art, and more!

Miner's Pumpkin Patch

  • Dates: October 5, 12, 19, 26
  • Times: 9am-4pm
  • Where: Western Museum of Mining & Industry, 225 Northgate Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80911
  • Cost: $11 for pre-purchased tickets ($13 at the door). Pumpkins are $6 each ($7 at the door). Children 3 and under are free. Please no pets.

Open every Saturday in October, Miner's Pumpkin Patch offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including corn hole, ladder ball, a giant slide, a pumpkin catapult, pumpkin smashing, and a hay maze. Enjoy a vintage apple cider press, meet farm animals, and take a fun hayride. You can also try gold panning, watch mining demonstrations, and grab fresh produce at the farmer's stand. With food trucks and live music, it's an event you don't want to miss! Plus, your visit supports the Western Museum of Mining & Industry.

Long Neck Pumpkin Farm

  • Dates: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, September 21-October 27
  • Times: 10am-5pm
  • Where: 7595 California Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80923
  • Cost: $18 per person, kids under 2 are free. *Does not include a pumpkin.
  • Details: Reservations required! Please no pets.

Don't forget your camera! Long Neck Pumpkin Farm is full of great photo opportunities throughout the patch! Enjoy hayrides, a hay slide, duck races, and tractor swings. With slingshot games and farm animals, there's plenty of fun for everyone!

Colorado Pumpkin Patch 

  • Dates: September 18-Nov 2 
  • Times: Tuesday 9am-1pm, Wednesday-Sunday 9am-5pm.

Get your pumpkin at Colorado Pumpkin Patch, just 20 minutes north of Colorado Springs. This patch stands out with its unique attractions like laser tag and a 30-feet jumping pad. Other fun activities include human foosball, a farm animal petting area, football drills, a baseball throwing lane, and steer head roping. For an extra fee, kids can enjoy pony rides and face painting.

Happy Apple Farm

  • Dates: Fridays-Sunday until October 27
  • Times: 9am-4:30pm
  • Where: 1190 1st St, Penrose, CO 81240
  • Cost: FREE! Pumpkins and apples for purchase
  • Details: No reservations, free hayrides, pets welcome!

Pumpkin picking and fresh apple cider? Yes, please! Happy Apple Farm offers a fantastic pumpkin patch along with hand-picked apples straight from their orchard. Insider tip: Every weekend from 9am-3pm, they serve delicious deli sandwiches and apple cider donuts.

Harvest Days in Pueblo

  • Dates: October 2024 details coming soon
  • Where: 33111 E. US Hwy 50, Pueblo, CO

Harvest Days is the perfect spot for family fun, offering a corn maze, pumpkin patch, farm animals and plenty of other farm activities.

Diana's Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

  • Dates: September 21-October 31
  • Times: Friday & Saturday 10am-9pm, Sundays 10am-6pm
  • Where: 1649 Poplar Ave, Canon City, CO 81212
  • Cost: $15 per person, Children 5 and under are free. *Does not include a pumpkin.
  • Details: There are military days and customer appreciation days on select dates.

Pick the perfect pumpkin, explore the corn maze, and enjoy the corn bin, hay slide, hayride, climbing rope, and duck races. The farm's grill serves food from 11am-6:30pm, with fall treats available at the snack barn from 10am until closing.

Pop's Pumpkin Patch

  • Dates: September 28-October 27
  • Times: Saturdays 10am-7pm, Sundays 10am-6pm
  • Where: 1940 13th St, Penrose, CO 81240
  • Cost: $12 per person, Children 2 and under are free. *Does not include pumpkin.
  • Details: Cash is recommended, however credit cards will be accepted with 3% processing fee. No ATM on site.

Family-owned Pop's Pumpkin Patch opens its first season this year and runs every weekend through October. Enjoy a tractor ride through the Spooky Forest, pick your own pumpkins, and explore the Amazing Blue Maze. Fun activities include the Hay Bale Slide, Corn Pit, Knee High Tires, and yard games. Roast marshmallows at the fire pits, meet baby goats, and snap plenty of photos, with pumpkins and hand-painted displays. Concessions feature baked goods, hot cocoa, and more, plus you can visit Pop's Vineyard for wine tasting!
