Our Favorites in North COS

  • Woodmoor Commons Toboggan Hill (Deer Creek Rd, Woodmoor) - Starting from the treeline, the broad, gentle slopes lead into expansive, open fields below. Parking can be limited, so we recommend carpooling and please be mindful of private property if the small lot is full.

  • Kathleen O'Neill Marriage Park (2320 Amberwood Ln, Briargate) - Dedicated to the memory of the esteemed pioneer gardener who played a significant role in establishing the Colorado Springs and Broadmoor garden clubs, this quaint neighborhood park features a steep sled hill near its entrance.

  • John Venezia Community Park (3555 Briargate Pkwy, Briargate) - Located on the southern edge of this new park, there's a naturally forming sledding hill that promises a thrilling experience. With a deep snow pack smoothing the rugged terrain beneath the Academy Elementary School, get ready for a fun ride down the slopes.

  • Cottonwood Creek Park (3920 Dublin Blvd, Briargate) - This community park boasts excellent downhill slopes and lengthy runs, ensuring high speeds for sledders. Park at the Rec Center and discover ample open space, perfect for accommodating large crowds.

Our Favorites on the East-Side

  • Eugene McCleary Park (5214 Pioneer Mesa Dr, Woodmen) - Nestled in the neighborhood, this petite park provides a mild incline and plenty of open area adjacent to Freedom Elementary School.

  • Andrew J. Templeton Park (5347 Rose Ridge Ln, Stetson Hills) - This broad and gentle slope found in this neighborhood park on the east side is perfect for families and younger children.

  • Sand Creek High School (7005 N. Carefree Cir, Cimarron Hills) - Featuring massive sports fields, there's ample room to spread out here. While it may not have the steepest incline, the elongated slope allows plenty of time to gather momentum and pick up speed.

  • Village Green Park (3590 N Carefree Cir, Palmer Park) - This spacious slope has become a beloved sledding destination on the east side, close to Palmer Park. Plus, you're in luck with Slice 420's east location just a mile away, perfect for post-sledding pizza.

Our Favorites on the Westside

  • Bear Creek Regional Park (21st St and Argus Rd, Broadmoor) - A cherished spot on the Westside, this classic destination is ideal for young children and is quite popular. This hills, offer ample space for kids to enjoy multiple runs until they reach blissful exhaustion or experience a meltdown, whichever happens first.

  • Trailblazer Elementary School (2015 Wickes Rd, Ute Valley) - The rugged terrain enveloping this Westside school is tailor-made for sled speed, which explains why adventurous sledders are drawn to it.

  • Hewlett Packard Hill (305 S Rockrimmon Blvd, Rockrimmon) - The entrance to Hewlet Packard campus is surrounded by vast, sloping terrain, making it a favored spot among locals. Choose your slope, construct your jumps, and slide to your heart's content.

Our Favorites in South COS

  • Van Diest Park (1520 Chelton Rd, Palmer Park) - With it's large open area and gentle slope leading to the playground, this Southeast Springs neighborhood is a prime choice for sledding enthusiasts. Conveniently located next to Carmel Community School.

  • Mesa Ridge High School (6070 Mesa Ridge Pkwy, Security) - Offering ample open space, parking and a steep hill perfect for zooming towards the sports fields, this Fountain high school stands out as one of the most sought-after snow hills for obvious reasons.

  • Quail Lake Park (915 E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Stratmoor Hills) - Located just west of the lake, above the playground, lies a steep slope that promises an exhilarating ride, satisfying your need for speed on the south side.

  • Broadmoor Bluffs Park (5315 Farthing Dr, Broadmoor Bluffs) - In the hilly landscape of the Broadmoor Bluffs neighborhood, this compact 4-acre park offers open field space for exceptional sledding. It's conveniently located across from Cheyenne Mountain Elementary School.
