Here are the trending topics Coloradans are exploring for the new year. 

• Run a 5k - This is a common New Year's resolution if you reside in Colorodo. In recent searches, individuals searching for New Year's resolutions in places like Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver, Grand Junction and Montrose have also been looking up information about 5k events on Google. Notable related searches include the Bolder Boulder, Polar Bear 5k Denver, and the Colfax Marathon. These searches suggest that Coloradans may kickstart their year by preparing for local races.

• Weight Loss & Fitness - Another trending search across popular Colorado cities is weight loss, including queries like "How much protein should I eat in a day?" and "How much water should you drink a day?" Coloradans are also exploring fitness, delving into topics such as Planet Fitness hours and the Peloton Bike. It wouldn't be surprising if gyms experience increased attendance, at least for the first few weeks of 2024.

• Intimacy & Relationships - Searches also indicate that Coloradans are expressing a readiness for romantic connections. Throughout the state, individuals have been searching for terms like "intimate relationship" and "couple" in recent weeks. Suggesting that residents may be seeking to enhance their relationships, evident in queries for "relationship goals" and "avoidant attachment style."

• Career - Some people across Colorado have searched for "career" as part of their New Year's resolution goals. Many are exploring employment websites and job fairs, as well as specific career opportunities such as Western Union careers and USPS careers.
