Colorado Springs Splash Pads

Summer is here, and family fun is never far around Colorado Springs. Of course, one of the most time-tested ways to enjoy a family day out in the summer is to spend some time in the water at one of many great Colorado Springs splash pads and pools. Our real estate agents have more details on some of the top Colorado Springs splash pads and pools for you to enjoy this summer.

  • Julie Penrose Fountain – 126 Cimino Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80903
In addition to being an outstanding example of the cool public art you'll find around Colorado Springs, the Julie Penrose Fountain is also a great place for a refreshing splash all summer long. This fountain typically opens for splashing around Memorial Day Weekend and is then open all summer. For reference, all of the city-owned splash pads and fountains follow the same dates when opening for the season.

  • Uncle Wilber Fountain – 115 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903
The Uncle Wilber Fountain is a small but very conveniently located splash pad found within Acacia Park. It's open every day throughout the summer, weather pending, with three sessions spread throughout the afternoon.

  • Monument Valley Pool – 220 Mesa Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80903
The first public pool in Colorado Springs is still one of the most fun to visit, and you can't go wrong visiting the Monument Valley Pool on a hot summer day. Monument Valley Park itself features tons to do before you go swimming, with athletic fields, recreation facilities, and nature trails to explore. The pool has fun water features and play areas for the kids, with plenty of room to relax for adults.

  • Deerfield Hills Sprayground – 4290 Deerfield Hills Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80916
Located right next to the Deerfield Hills Community Center, the Deerfield Hills Sprayground is a great place for kids to cool off, with more than 50 spray nozzles spread across 16 unique water spray features. There are tons of cool water features here that you won't find at other splash parks, including the Ground Geysers, Water Quests, and Bell Trios. This facility is also available for parties on Saturdays and Sundays if you book in advance.

  • Little Dipper Pool – 1232 Milky Way, Colorado Springs, CO 80905
For more than 50 years, the Little Dipper Pool has been a place to have fun in the water, learn to swim, and enjoy family barbecues by the pool. While this is a public pool, it has the feel of a private pool in someone's backyard. There's plenty of grass and shade, as well as ample seating. The pool features a large shallow end for younger swimmers, as well as a deep end, diving board, and plenty of room to swim laps.

  • Aga Park – 415 W. Alabama Ave., Fountain, CO 80817
Just a hop and skip southeast of Colorado Springs, you'll find the brand new Aga Park Splash Pad in Fountain, a 4,000-square-foot facility packed with fun new features from the Wavy Palm to the Aqua Dome. It also has longer hours than most splash pads, open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. You can find this fun facility on the southern edge of Aga Park.
