The first of the Humpty Dumpty Brothers arrived in 2002, and was given the name Bronze H.D. He rests outside of the Pikes Peak Center on Cascade Avenue, perched on a wall that children of all ages can easily approach. Created by award-winning Minneapolis artist Kimber Fiebiger, he sports a metallic green shirt, blue metallic striped pants, a dapper bow tie, stylish belt, and black loafers adorned with buckles. Originally part of the Arts on the Streets program, H.D. initially positioned on a rock at the Bijou and Tejon streets intersection. Community Ventures purchased him in 2004 and generously donated him to the City of Colorado Springs.
